I don't care what the weather does, I am pulling out the spring staples anyway. I've been on a hunt for maxi bubble skirts lately. Mainly because of how conservative they are, while professional at the same time. I work at an extremely conservative financial institution. Minis and cleavage don't fly. I luck out in the sense that many mini skirts are not mini on me because I'm just so little to begin with.
Anyway, this skirt is H&M. I found it at the Goodwill for $4. It's that slightly luminous, a little crinkly material. Seems anti- wrinkle though, so I'm digging that. Belt was $1 from Body Central. Top is American Eagle. Found it thrifting for $4. Statement necklace was $6 on eBay. And shoes were clearance Payless for around $10.
Payless has some real winners sometimes. Often their synthetic shoes last longer than ones I've had from Aldo!
I just love the structure and formality of the oxford with the flow and funk of the maxi bubble skirt!
